Q) How do you promote me?
A) I spend an average of 4 hours daily doing research into what is currently available in the UAV
industry. While online I also spend a lot of time promoting my website and pushing other
companies products. I don't just shoot off emails, I actually call the client and take the time to talk
to them, finding out exactly what is needed.
Q) Do people actually come to your website?
A) We have had nearly 10,000 hits on our site, of coarse many just browse, but we take the time to
trace them back and do follow-up calls and emails as well.
Q) What kind of client base do you have?
A) My personal background is that of surveillance and Law Enforcement. With this background I
have come in contact with many agencies to include Forestry contacts, Police and various other
agencies..
Q) Do you know the product?
A) Obviously I can't possibly know everything there is to know in this market. What we try to do is
get the basics from you so that we can refer the client to you directly and weed out the sales
leeds that may not fit what you offer. Upon joining Aerosight marketing, we will request literature
on the products you want us to promote. It may be videos, pdf documents etc. We then post them
on our website.
Q) Ok, a client seems very interested in buying..What's next?
A) In a nut shell this is what we do. A client comes to Aerosight with a specific need. They tend to
ask for a recommendation. In many cases it's a turn key system they want. I respond back to
them and get more details on what the needs are specifically. When I get more info I do some
research and call them back and speak with them. When they are ready to get quotes I shoot
your company copies of the correspondence and then I contact the client again and inform them
that I have routed there needs and contact info to various suppliers. At that point it's all up to you
to sell your product! In some cases I may be sending them a few suppliers so this will ensure that
you do your part to take care of my client. If your company fails to follow up on the lead I generate
then you obviously lose the client.
Q) What is the rate for the leed/sale or job?
A) Depending on the product it can vary. In most cases 5 to 10% is what is asked for. If it is a long
term contract that I have helped you get then we discuss if there are continued fees. In most
cases, if a lead creates a long term contract then I would get a larger finders fee with no
continued cost to you.
Q) How do you get paid?
A) We have taken great steps to verify the supplier and their customer service and products. If
they don't follow up with us or the client, we will not represent them. What this means is that we
work on an honor system. We trust that the supplier of the service or product will follow up with
us and pay us the amount due. We don't always know the sale has happened or the amount of
products sold because we don't handle the cash for you. If we discover that we were not
compensated for our efforts in some form we will simply stop promoting your company. With our
current networking, we feel a company would do themselves injustice to violate this trust.
Q) Sounds simple enough, how do we get you to promote us?
A) Simply shoot us an email to info@aerosight.com telling us that you want us to market for you. I
will review your products to insure they fit what we promote. If so, we simply have you send
everything you can that we can send to clients and have on our site.
